The 'Empty Heart ' bird house was one of my very first gourds, it taught me a lot about the craft . it taught me that permanent marker shows threw acrylic paint , that I needed a more durable top coat , that I prefer shiny top coats just to name a few. However the biggest lesson was that I loved making gourd art .
